Eric: To tell you the truth, it feels great.

Eric: Well yeah, it's pretty much my first time.

Eric: I was not expecting for this to happen at all.

Eric: I can't say I deserved it but, sure

Eric: Mr. Doerr, he's pretty chill

Eric: I'm a really nice guy in general

Eric: I really don't like the work but I like socializing with people

Eric: yeah, I just keep my grades very consistent

Newspaper Design Notes

Broad Sheet- Tall and narrow(skinny).

Tabloid- Half the size of a broad sheet.

Teaser- Something to get the reader to read the interesting article(preview stories).

Front Page Elements- Flag, photos, headlines, stories, and lines.

Byline-  name and title.

Jumps- Shows where to find the rest of the story.

Info Graphic- Provides info. in graphic form.

Composition, Lenses and Photography Terms

1. I would use a telephoto lens to take pictures at a football game.

2. I would use a prime lens to take pictures that have more detail even in dimly lit area.

3. I would use a wide-angle lens to take a big family photo.

Depth of Field-The distance between the nearest and the furthest objects that give an image judged to be in focus in a camera.

Light- A natural agent that stimulates sight and makes things visible.

Shadows- A dark or shape produced by a body coming in between rays of light and a surface.

Diffusion- The spreading of something more widely.

Exposure- An act or instance of being uncovered or unprotected.

Aperture- A space through which light passes in an optical or photographic instrument.

Shutter Speed- In photography, shutter speed is a common term used to discuss exposure time.

ISO- The measure of a photographic film's sensitivity to light.
